For much of my early life, intimacy felt unsafe. I learned to keep myself hidden, and in that hiding I wrestled with depression, panic, and the kinds of choices that dulled rather than healed. I tried to outrun my own heart with distractions—substances, busyness, even smiles that weren’t quite true.
 

But something in me refused to stay buried. In 2014, with the help of plant medicine, metaphysical study, sobriety, and a steady devotion to self-awareness, I began a different path. One step at a time, I started listening inward instead of turning away. What I discovered was not only resilience, but a deep compassion—for myself, and for anyone who has ever felt lost in their own skin.
 

Today, life feels very different. I am rooted in a consciously chosen, nourishing partnership, raising three spirited children, and living in alignment with what intimacy truly means: meeting ourselves fully, so that we can meet others with honesty, tenderness, and freedom.
 

My work as an intimacy coach is born from this journey. I don’t see intimacy as a final destination, but as an unfolding practice—a way of living that invites more authenticity, connection, and joy into every relationship, starting with the one we hold with ourselves.​
